The gap between knowing and doing

Dr. Jordan Robins is someone who has built an entire platform around helping parents maintain a healthy, active lifestyle. He’s medically trained, deeply familiar with the research on exercise and longevity, and acutely aware of the gap between what the evidence recommends and what’s actually achievable when you have small children and a demanding career.

The nap window

Jordan is a doctor. He’s also a father of two, which means he currently lives the same reality as a lot of his patients—wanting to stay healthy, knowing exactly why it matters, and having almost no time to do anything about it. “Being a new dad of two, time is pretty limited these days. Getting to the gym just wasn’t realistic anymore. I still wanted to stay active, though, so I needed something that could fit into my day without being a big time commitment. CAROL just made sense for where I’m at in life right now.” 

 

That calculation, between what’s necessary for our health and what’s actually sustainable, is one Jordan helps his own audience navigate every day. The answer he’s landed on for himself is a 5-minute REHIT ride, fitted into whatever window the day offers. 

 

“The workouts are tough, but they’re quick, which is exactly what I need. I can usually squeeze one in while the baby is napping, which makes a huge difference.” 

 

Six months of consistency

Consistency is the variable most fitness protocols fail on. But a 5-minute workout has a structural advantage: there is almost no circumstance that makes it genuinely impossible. Now, Jordan has been riding for 6 months.
