The maximum intensity levels during a CAROL sprint are about three times higher than in HIIT cycling classes. It is impossible to perform at this level on a regular exercise bike.

- At the right time (just after you’ve built up speed at a low resistance)
- In a fraction of a second (instantly go from very low to very high)
